I live in the great Northwest w/ my partner, mom (who has a head injury) and 3 dogs and 3 cats. Started violin as a kid, quit as a somewhat older kid, started again as a college student, then went to Edinburgh for a year in '82 and started hanging out at the Folk Song Society, where I started fiddling. Been playing on and off (mostly off until lately) and am taking lessons with a Texas style fiddle teacher. I'm actually starting to like the music too ('tho it's quite different from what I'm used to). I'm a tech for the phone company here in Portland, OR.
