Hello my name is Gerry Barry-i am from Stoneybatter,Dublin,and living in West Wicklow . I play mandoline mostly,I have a short neck Banjo which I can rattle out a couple of hornpipes on. My Mandolines at the moment are-a Rigel-"Jethro"
a Weber-"Bighorn"--a sweet sounding -Levin "42n"carved top
and a Thomas Buchanan which is great for trad. My wife told me not to buy any more mandolins until I can play the ones I have already.--I love trad and old timey type bluegrass/country.
