I'm a Music Education student at the University of Wyoming, going into my last year of my bachelor's degree. My main instrument has been silver flute for the past 16 years, but I started playing the Irish wooden flute three years ago, and I'm loving it! I've been studying wooden with Rod Garnett of Colcannon for the past three years, parallel with studying silver flute for my degree. After working with June McCormack at the Boxwood Flute Festival in Lunenburg, NS recently, I'm seriously contemplating a Master's Degree in Irish Music Performance at the University of Limerick, IE (probably after getting my Master's of Music Therapy).
