I live in St Andrews, Scotland and I'm doing a maths PhD but don't let that put you off.
I've been playing the violin and the fiddle since I was 5, flute since I was 9ish although never really got the hang of folk flute since my fiddle was always stronger. I own a guitar and a concertina although they only get sporadic bouts of interest as its frustrating not being able to play them as well as the fiddle.
My dream is to have a folk/thrash metal band with Julian my five string leccy fiddle. Not quite worked that one out yet.
