I have a good musical background playing clarinet, trumpet, guitar, bass, and percussion. All of these I have played in some form of a band, but I have always loved Irish and Scottish music. I used to join a friend at his bagpipe lessons, however I never had the money for bagpipes, much less lessons, so I played snare with him. For some reason, not till recently did I think about checking into irish whistles. I bought a Clarke Celtic Tinwhistle in D off of whistleanddrum.com. Currently this is the only whistle I have.
I'm new and uneducated. I am trying to change that...
