Hey! My name is Colm Pattwell, I'm from Cashel in Co. Tipperary originally but living in Galway city now. Being playing the button accordion for about 13 years. I also play bass guitar in trad music as well.
I play a Castagnari Dinn III box and a Fender P-deluxe bass.
Some of my fave musicians/groups are Michael McGoldrick, Lúnasa, Solas, Flook, Seamus Egan, Rágus, Trevor Hutchinson, Enda Scahill & many, many more...
The biggest influences on my music would be my two teachers Kathleen Nesbitt and Bobby Gardiner. Also included are my brother Darragh Pattwell, the Costello family from Roscrea and anyone who I've had to privilege to play with at a session! Thank you!
My other main interest, apart from music,is juggling and circus skills in general. Balls, rings, clubs, diabolo, devilstick, hat manipulation and cigarboxes are my faves.
