Hello Session.Org:

I fell upon this site accidentally about three years ago and have been visiting it since. What a great resource for tunes and sources!

I play guitar and tenor banjo mainly, in a five-piece Irish group called "Harvest Home." I also play mandolin and sing and am learning Irish fiddle as well. The group plays a blend of pub songs, some trad, and some American old-time songs and tunes.

I'm actively involved in a Civil War reenactment group, the 2nd Kentucky (Morgan's Artillery), and we place a big emphasis on music of the period, with our "Saturday Evening Camp Singing" being a highlight of our reenactment weekends. You can check us out at www.civilwar.net
Last summer (2006) we got to rob a train, capture the Yanks, and steal all their money! It just doesn't get better than that. There's photos of that event (Coldwater, Michigan) on the web site.

I have a CD available of Civil War music that I did a few years back and it's listed at CDBaby.com as Jimmy Phillips, "The Rebel Soldier."

Can anyone PLEASE help me find the lyrics to a song called "The Limerick Races" by the Wolfe Tones? It's on their "Irish to the Core" CD and I just can't seem to get the lyrics from the recording. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Jimmy Phillips
