I'm a guitar player from the Scottish Borders who plays a wee bit of mandolin. I help out at a local fiddle "school" by keeping the beat, adding a bit of harmony and singing a few songs at their concerts. I do guitar repairs and have also started building guitars. I've also started writing tunes for my own amusement, initially on the guitar but then I found them a lot easier to play on the mandolin.
