My name is Ruth, I'm a fiddle player from Newcastle Upon Tyne. I play in a few ceilidh bands and am studying for a degree in Folk and Trad. Music. I also play for rapper, clog and morris dancing. I very much enjoy playing Northumbrian music but also like Scottish/Shetland/Irish/English tunes. Oh, and Swedish/French/American/Everywhere Tunes.
I have written one or two good tunes which I will get round to popping on here some time.
