Okies, I'm 18 years old, live in West Virginia, USA, where there is almost no Irish music except for me, and I play fiddle. I've played classical violin for 12 years now, and a few years ago, I became addicted to Irish fiddle. Now, I'd like nothing better than to drop clasical, although all that technique has helped me a lot.
I also try and play whistle, guitar, and mandolin, though I'm not very good at them. I'm also learning, emphasis on the learning, :) the highland bagpipes, which are insanely fun, though tricky and loud. :)
