I play a lot of instruments, and a lot of other music besides Irish, but in general I play the fiddle and banjo.

My maternal family had a strong musical tradition being the sort of people who travel, play music.

I am especially fond of the styles of Clare, and had the opportunity over some months to sit in with some of the great living (well, in 1998!) players.
