Sithiwenasithi

Passionate North Staffordshire Oatcake (some say fruitcake but that's not pc) who picked up a good bunch of tunes from the Irish Community of Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme over the last 25 years. The group has faded, sadly, but the tunes never will or do.
Don't travel well - travel destroys communities. We move around too much. Scrap all cars and STAY PUT and maybe we'll meet in North Staffordshire some day. If its a choice between drinking and driving, DON'T DRIVE!.
Used to play a gut strung fiddle, but when that wasn't frenetic enough, had to submit to wire. Also tinkled mandolin and (a bit) bouzouki, but hard work, that.
More of a home bird now, but like to keep in touch. Play tunes on a spanish guitar now, and doubt if I could ever again play in fifths.
