I'm in the Boston area. I started listening to and playing Irish music a bit in the late 70's but got a lot more serious about it in the late nineties when I studied with the late Tony Cuffe at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education in his traditional session tunes class. What an incredible gift that was!
I play mandolin, bouzouki, tenor banjo and guitar. I played rock and pop music for years but feel like I've found a home with traditional music.
