Hi, I'm Kriostoir (Kris) and I live in Seattle, WA. I play flute (nearly 20 years now) and whistles. I've been singing Celtic music since I was little, and was taught waulking songs and sean-nos by my grandmother.
I'm in a band here in Seattle (Check us out! http://www.ockhamsrazormusic.com ), and write and record a lot of original material, but inevitably, I always arrive back at the Celtic stuff.
