bigyabby

Inland Northern NSW Australia. Male 58 years.

It's a long story. It really started in the early 70s when with some friends found a number of LPs on Irish music from a local used record shop.

Among those albums were the keys to my destiny including ...

Paddy Canny and PJ Hayes
The Leitrim Ceili Band
The Laichtín Naofa Céilí Band

... and I have been totally hooked since.

Have a friend from Fermanagh who lives in Oz who chased and bought every album he could get his hands on and which he shared freely.

Came from a musically eclectic family. Mostly a closet fiddler for last 30+ years. Some button accordion and guitar and I dabble with other instruments.

I do appreciate the contributions on the session site. There is a lot of goodwill there. Thanks to all.
