Hi im Chris, and I live in Hillsborough. Its a little city in the UK.
Im new to the folk scene, though am a dab hand with organising and management, and am currently serving as a committee member for the Sheffield Folk Festival.
Im a "novice" musician in terms of folk - my main skill lies with jazz music having played with Andy Hamilton and the Blue Notes for a few years and the Fine Young Cannibals. I now concentrate on the whistle, and regularly play in sessions with Brian Howard (of Howard whistles/uillean pipes/bodhrans - www.howardmusic.co.uk).
Im 28, about to be married (in 2006), and work for Halifax Bank of Scotland as a senior credit risk analyst.
