Originally from Ireland I came to the UK to study and have landed up staying here longer than I care to remember. Presently I teach in the music department at a school in Yorkshire. This was preceded by a 23-year stint in a symphony orchestra based in Manchester. I have a passion for many kinds of music and am only allergic to the kind of dirges produced for purely “commercial” reasons whatever the genre. I Mainly play Violin, Viola and Mandolin although I will have a go at any instrument I can find.
