I play flute, whistle, and bodhran. I've also been step-dancing for since about '96. Switched from boehm flute to Irish keyless system about then also. I've had some lessons with Larry Nugent for flute, and I should be better to show it! And I learned dancing from Kathleen Keane who up till recently played some MEAN whistle and fiddle for Gaelic Storm. I plan to keep Irish music as a life-long pursuit. Since I didn't grow up around the culture and start at the age of 3, I'll always be a beginner:-) That's okay.
