Hello!
My name is Dr. Kathleen Lavengood, and am the record label manager for Alula at Allegro Media Group in Portland, Oregon. I also serve as adjunct music faculty for George Fox University teaching strings and world music.
I am an Ethnomusicologist (PhD, Indiana University), a violinist (MM, BM), and a fiddler. Cape Breton was home for a year during Fulbright research on music and tourism, but I also play bluegrass and oldtime.
