Dia dhuit, I'm a boy (20) from Mallorca (Majorca (Island)) and I love this music.
Táim ag foghlaim na Gaeilge, agus.. not really.
I have some tin whistles, a Dixon polymer flute and a Chieftain low D. I can't stop playing them. And I also have a fiddle but I can't play it, well I'm trying to learn on my own.
BTW I have some videos on youtube, you'll find me if you search Irish jigs on Nintendo DS... lol
My favorite band is Lúnasa. I also like Dervish, Altan, The Chieftains, Flook, Mr. McGoldrick, Capercaillie, Alasdair Fraser, etc etc.
I'd like to play with someone but here in the island nobody even knows what Irish music is. If you're ever around here drop me an e-mail and let's see if we can play something.
