munchko

A long time lover of Irish music, but not a player of Irish music (yet). My son and I have been playing the viola for about 2 years (classical stuff only), and he recently expressed a desire to switch to violin in order to learn Irish fiddle style.

I finally decided to take the plunge and start taking fiddle lessons (20 years ago, I thought I was too old to start learning fiddle - don't know why I thought I should start now!). I am taking lessons from Dana Lyn, who lives in NYC.

We live in the NYC area (Fort Lee, NJ). This site was recommended to me by one of the fiddle teachers I have spoken to.
