70 years old,discovered ITM a year or so ago.
Bought a banjo having played around with fretted instruments since being a teenager.
Started by playing banjo with a Dixieland band in 1950's, then guitar, then part time with dance/jazz groups. Ended up bass guitar with piano trio.
Dabbled with Classical guitar then got an urge to return to my roots so tried to learn Clawhammer style banjo with limited success (got fed up with re-tuning) so decided to try a legitimate instrument ie., Tenor banjo GDAE tuned.
Would dearly love to play fiddle but feel it's too late now !
