len

Len Davies, a Plymouth boy living for over 30 years in Winchester, Hampshire, England, UK.
I play a Fylde "Touchstone" octave mandola, Fylde "Touchstone" mandolin, a W. Lange Triple X tenor banjo and have recently tried to resurrect the whistle. My main interest is ITM but I also like French and other European styles. I am also keen on Cornish music and try and introduce the odd tune into sessions where it generally seems to be accepted. I play in a dance band and also with various friends in various locations with various band names.
After over 30 years "bird" I retired, hoping to finally get in some proper practice. To pay for my holidays, I am now engaged in casual work for a Funeral Director.
With time on my hands, I tried this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBfiHb-zjTU
I'll do better next time.
