babut

2Mother of five, grandmother of 12, wife of 1 ( for 39 years). Have known and loved Scottish and Irish music all my life. Player of piano and 29 string harp unitil a stroke took away use of my left hand. Now I am fascinated with playing fiddle tunes on harmonica. Nothing like a slow air on a low D! Oh, yes,I am also a storyteller (actually get paid for that on occasion).

We live on a 176 acre farm in the hills of SW Pennsylvania, USA raising Scottish Highland cattle (also 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 horses. Closest session is a sometime Irish/sometime Old Time session 40 minutes away. I usually make it 1 or 2 times/ month. Sigh!
