I am a visual artist who loves music. Have been playing old time banjo and guitar for 27 years in Florida. Moved to Pensacola seven years ago and started playing Irish. Have been playing penny whistle now for about five years.
My whistle playing has improved greatly. I bought a beautiful brass Copeland whistle two years ago and have been enjoying it a lot! Went back to the guitar to learn movable bar chords. My lovely little wonder tenor sits in the corner waiting for me to get back.
We have an irish music session here in pensacola Florida every thursday at a little artbar downtown called DOLCE VITA.
Also am a founding member of the FLORIDA STATE FIDDLER'S ASSOC.
We have a fiddllers convention in oct and a fiddle contest in may.
This year will be our 30th convention to be held at Otter Springs State Park in Trenton, Fl . http:/www.nettally/com/fiddler/annualconvention.htm
