PrairieDawg

I now live in Montreal (Ile Perrot), Qc, Canada. I like most musical styles but am always drawn towards 'celtic' and NAm traditional. I 'play' a few tunes on the mandolin, guitar, whistles and fiddle (barely) - mostly for my own pleasure. However, occasionally I get together with several friends and play 'family gatherings' and the rare 'local gig'. I spend too much time at work (chemistry stuff) and as a result have only a small circle of 'player/friends' - something I'd like to increase. On the rare occasion that I find myself 'on vacation' - I've been known to packup the kids and hike out to any number of musical festivals that dot NAm. Well I guess there isn't much more to say - Sooo... Cheers!
