Hi, I'm Brian Martin. I've been on the planet longer than most people. I'm a true folky in England , living in the Forest of Dean near the Welsh border. If something makes a noise, I've either got one and play it, had one and played it or want one and can't afford it. My main instruments currently for public scrutiny are concertina (Anglo and English), mandolin, whistles (various). I've played a lot for dancing (step clogging and morris), in bands and in sessions. On a few occasions I've actually been payed (usually to stop playing!), but mostly I inflict gratuitous noise on others.
