Hi I'm Conán, originally from Belfast but now living in London and working as an IT Systems trainer. I play piano-accordion, bodhran and harmonica. I've been playing for about 24 years now. As well as Irish trad. music, I'm interested in Breton, Spanish (Galician, Asturian) and Scandinavian traditional music. I used to do quite a bit of set-dancing but I'm a bit rusty now. My friends and I normally play in the Porterhouse in Covent Garden and afterwards either in Waxy O'Connors (Soho) or Tommy Flynn's (Mornington Crescent) on Sundays and on the odd occasion I make it down to Tir Na n'Og in Wandsworth for a Saturday night session.
