I'm a Boston area fiddler, tunesmith, songwriter and accompanist, and have played Irish and old time music for several decades, starting out in the California traditional music scene in the mid-70's. I am particularly interested in questions of modes and their harmonic possibilities, tune structure and innovations therein in new tunesmithery, and rare and unusual repertoire.
