I just get endless enjoyment from playing the tin whistle. I started with generation, which made a horrible noise, then bought a lovely chieftain low D. After 5 years playing the wonderful sounding and wonderfully inexpensive Clarke's Sweetone, I have finally moved on to buy a Dixon tuneable solid brass. This after a marathon tryout in the Hobgoblin store in Bristol, and rejecting several more expensive whistles.
