I'm a fiddler from Arkansas. I began with classical as a child but never really liked the music, except Baroque. I quit playing for a long time until I inherited my mom's old violin, and then I took up the fiddle.
I've always loved Irish music but was intimidated by it for a long time; I thought I would never be able to play it right not being Irish. I've gotten over that, much to the dismay of my neighbors.
