From Guildford, Surrey, England where there seems little or no 'scene' :-( Classically trained flute and recorder player dabbling now in the whole whistle flute tradition, steeping myself in a bath full of CDs by Mary Bergin, Paddy Carty and Matt Malloy and full of ibuprofen to control the pain in my knuckles from spreading my fingers at unfeasible angles, and loving every minute of it.
Oh and also trying to fulfill a lifetime ambition to be able to sing whilst playing the guitar...
