I play piano in a couple of traditional dance bands, and have had the privilege of sessioning with some great musicians in the US and Canada. There are some really good festivals and camps to attend within a few hours drive from my home.
If you want to know more, I can be found at http://www.myspace.com/twobitsstringband. Our local sessions are listed on the http://www.myspace.com/saratogapancelticsession page. See and hear 2 Bits (hammered dulcimer and piano) in a Quebecois/Celtic session at http://www.chantezvous.com/videos.php by clicking on Tel Quel - Confiture 2008. Another page at http://www.frenchinnewengland.ning.com/profile/johnguay includes some French Canadian music clips of ours as well.
Cheers~
