Hi, I am a Scot based in Birmingham, England. It is a lively musical area with much ITM. I play Highland bagpipe in a pipeband and at solo gigs, also Scots/Irish fiddle and bodhran in sessions/gigs with a wee folk band. The other instruments in the band consist of Scottish small pipes, guitars, mandolin or banjo, whistles and accordian. The tunes we play are mainly bagpipe versions of Scottish and Irish tunes, which I play on the fiddle, but I do play ITM and am trying to build up a repertoire. I started playing fiddle later in life and love it to bits.
