My name is Steve and I play guitar - Irish tune accompaniment, melody, and some fingerstyle. I was introduced to Itrad about 7 years ago at a local session. Several of us play regular sessions and the occassional gig.
I favor drop-D tuning, using a partial capo for DADGAD tonalities without retuning. My main guitar influences include Paul Brady, John Doyle, Donogh Hennessy, Ian Carr, Dennis Cahill, Bruce "drop-D" Cockburn and Django Reinhardt. I enjoy listening to all types of world music as well.
