I'm a whistle/flute(baroque)/fife player from Richmond, Virginia...but now I am transplanted to the land of my fathers (literally, the Vaterland ... Germany).
Raised on trad music and fife and drum tradition, but have been having a hankering for learning Uilleann pipes (although I've also started to pick up some old-time influences...).
I'm VERY interested in making some connections to Irish/trad players in the southern part of Germany (Baden-Württemburg).
