Father of two Irish dancers (how I got interested in the Music) - research scientist by day living in Waterloo, Michigan. My wife is a reference librarian, a wonderful woman, and plays concertina and harp.
I'm a finger-style guitar player (mainly in alternate tunings such as DADGAD and CGDGCD). Also play tenor banjo and mandolin/mandola; learning to play accompaniment on the mandola.
Would enjoy getting together with anyone in the area - or passing through - to play some tunes.
