Hi
I'm Roisin and Im 19 years old. Currently at uni in Leicester doing Physics and Planetary Science because I'm a silly person, but my home town is near Blackpool in Lancashire. Been playing Irish music since I was 8 (?) I think, twas a long time ago that's all I know! I mostly play whistle and flute. I love my flute to bits, its a keyless D, since I was too cheap to afford keys, made from boxwood so its very pretty. It was made by Phil Bleazey who lives in the Nottingham area. I've been entering the Fleadhs for several years now, but now I'm too old to be in the junior competitions and been stuck in senior. I'm really scared! I also play bodhran, clarinet and tenor sax (though not so much now since my little sister stole my sax). If anyone's coming down my end of the world (leicester or blackpool/preston) give me an email and i'll sort you out with some sessions or just a few tunes. I get lonely :-( lol
