I live minutes from Lake Ontario, in Canada. I have started to play the fiddle again after being away from it for many years. A couple of years ago, we bought our son a three-quarter-size fiddle, but I ended up playing it more than he did. I just bought my own full-size fiddle from my brother, so now I can play duets with my son--I am sure he is thrilled! So far, I have only played for a few friends, (and the neighbours, if they can hear me through the walls!) but may work up the courage to get together with some fellow musicians some day.
I also take Irish dancing, and can manage a little Canadian step dancing as well.
