My real name is Kate. I play mandolin and Anglo concertina in eastern Vermont, USA. I play Irish music, and also Quebecois and traditional southern tunes. I listen to Scott Joplin, and lately I have been creating mandolin arrangements of Scott Joplin tunes. Then I try to play those arrangements. I find them pretty difficult, but loads of fun. And the more I play Scott Joplin, the easier the other stuff gets.
I am married, I have four sons, two rabbits, and aquarium fish.
