I live in Edinburgh where I have taught the accordion - yes, the piano accordion - for a living for the past 20 years or so. I mainly teach in the Scottish idiom, but have played Irish trad. for much longer than that. I probably listen to more fiddlers than box players - two of my great favourites are Kevin Burke and Eugene O'Donnell.
Not been to a public session for a long time - not too keen on the smoke (not to mention the hot air) but been wondering lately if I might be persuaded again.
My other great interest is my two Fell ponies. I'm involved in Parelli Natural Horsemanship - which is a sort of alternative training method. Great fun!
Get in touch if you fancy a tune.
I also have a web page devoted to teaching where you can contact me about long distance video coaching, etc.
