I am primarily a(n) uilleann piper living in Gainesville, Florida. I grew up in an Scots-Irish American family along the Appalachian Mountains, but did not start playing until moving back to Charlottesville, Virginia in the mid 90's.
I directed the Florida Tionol until it became the SE Tionol, and help and teach a number of pipers throughout Florida. I also play the bodhran (no really, I actually PLAY it), flute, whistles, piano, bit of guitar, and am considering the button box in the near future. I play in the band An Truir, and have performed with the Chieftains on their 2004 tour.
