My name is Hank.
I've been a percussionist in school bands and orchestra since age thirteen so transition to bodhran was smooth. I was aided by Chris Caswell's Lark in the morning video helped me learn how to play as did Tommy Hayes' video). I think Video Learning is really helpful !
I've been making little videos of my Celtic music adventures and putting them up on YouTube at

I started out with a Pakistani made Celtic (or Gothic?)
style 22 string lever harp. You can see and hear it via this link on YoutTube:.

I've stuck with it awhile and last year I upgraded my harp.
after trying out many different folk harps. I decided on
a Dustry Strings Ravenna 34 It has a wonderful sound !
