I've played Highland pipes since I was eleven, and quickly caught on to Scottish Smallpipes and Lowland pipes in the early '80s. I've also played Northumbrian smallpipes for over twenty years. Add to that the whistles and my banjo. I teach Scottish and Northumbrian pipes. I host a 'celtic' program on our local, community based web radio station, http://www.voiceofvashon.org. Just recently, I bought a BCC# box. I like to compose and hope to bring out a book of tunes at some point.
