Play and call New England Old Time square dances. Improvise, compose tunes, songs, and new "classical" pieces. Contest winner: Craftsbury, Vermont; Hartford, Connecticut; Newfane, Vermont; etc. (1970s). Also play piano, pipe organ, and reed organ. Restorer of reed organs. Founder of the Estey Organ Museum in the original factory buildings, Brattleboro, Vermont. Author. Inventor, innovator of many things, including violin bows, violin holders, shoulder rests, jaw rests, etc. Live on a mountain, building a house, solar electricity.
Music teacher. Main interest: Musical Playing and Fun.
