My interest in ITM stems from my love for traditional Scottish music. I've been playing the Highland Bagpipe for 8 years and just started on a set of Scottish Smallpipes made by my pipe teacher Mark Cushing. A couple years back I picked up a Chieftan Low D whistle and I've fallen in love with that as well. A month ago I sold the Chieftan to a friend and bought an Alba Low D and am liking the switch. After taking a course in Scottish Gaelic last spring, I've continued with a reading group and seek to learn more with each week. In my free time, I draw celtic knotwork, Scottish country dance, and attend to my studies. I am an undergrad at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
