I'm based in Exeter, Devon in the UK and play mandolin, mandola, bouzouki and fiddle.
My day (and often evening!) job is as a violin maker and restorer - we have a shop in Exeter called the Devon Strings Workshop where we set up, repair and restore instruments of the violin and mandolin families.
Both myself and my wife, Becky, trained at the Newark School of Violin Making.
We also run a couple of sessions in Exeter, and regularly attend other local sessions.
