I play flute and dabble with piano. I wanna get better at em both, but seriously lack the patience and musicality where piano is concerned. I used to play cello.......and I now really regret giving it up (how foolish I was as an 11 year old). If only I'd been introduced to trad music then I would never have quit. I'm also an Irish step dancer (though thankfully not the perma-tanned, wig wearing, caked in make-up type!). I got into trad music through dancing to it. I also have a 'thing' for slip jigs....I love em.
(My tune book is empty, cos I just shove the tunes I like straight into Abc navigator.)
