Whistling for 20 years from ear, and fiddling for a bit less. Finally I'm just learning to read music to get those hard to grasp bits that escape the ear, and discover all these tunes I wanted to play years ago on this website.
Now i'm sifting through 20 years of albums finding the dots to some of my all time favouritres. A big thankyou to everyone who has contributed.
Fortunate to have some good sessions not to far away, Otley and Leeds. Have been over to Ireland a dozen or so times, and four Willie Clancy weeks, but now every week is a chance to learn new material and more affordable.
If anyone is passing Harrogate-I'm up for a tune or two.
