I started out on highland pipes about 1955, learned guitar in the sixties, then whistle, Uilleann pipes and fiddle in that order. I try to play flute and low whistle. I gave up on the harp, hammer dulcimer, banjo, bouzouki, and mandolin: not enough hours in the day.
